On the Market!

It is a good day! The house is finished and on the market. We listed it with a realtor that is very good in the York city market.

Some features we want to point out are the new refrigerator and range that are under warranty. We also have filled the heating oil tank with 100 gallons of heating oil. The radiant heat works very well.

Our painter did a fantastic job of painting the basement walls and floor and all other surfaces throughout the entire house.

Yesterday we picked out the tile for the tub and all light fixtures. The fixtures are already installed and it gave the place a new look. In the kitchen we wanted to be sure there is enough light so we installed 5 lights. The bedroom fixtures are all new and working well.

The painters finished a few days ago and it really looks nice. We were very pleased to see it because it looks better than we thought it would.

Next we are going to be ordering the countertops and getting the carpet put in. The hardwood floor finishing company will be there on Monday to start that project so things are coming together.

York PA House For Sale

The renovation on this great detached 240 East Springettsbury Avenue home is progressing nicely. We have new windows already installed made by Anderson Windows and they are easy to use double-hung with insulated glass. The attractive vinyl kitchen floor and oak cabinets have been installed and are ready for countertops. The bathroom plumbing is already roughed in and the floor is down. The new tub is installed and it is ready for fixtures. The tile and finshed vinyl flooring is next. The bedroom closets have been completed and all the trim is being painted this week. We are still deciding what colors to paint the final coat so please let us know what you like. We will be landscaping a bit more this week to make the outside look fantastic. Even though it is currently too hot out to think about heat we have the new furnace hooked up and the radiant baseboard heating should be finished this week. Come by and take a look at the progress and let us know what colors you want. It will be ready in about 2 weeks.
